When Hurricane Helene devastated communities across the Southeast, chaplains responded where help was needed. In the midst of destruction, isolation, and uncertainty, the mission was simple: show up, serve people, meet practical needs, and bring compassionate presence into the crisis.

The Native Nations Chaplaincy Alliance (NNCA) builds relationships with Native communities through respectful, culturally aware chaplaincy. Our chaplains understand that meaningful service begins by listening, earning trust, honoring people and culture, and being present.
